Protecting the honor of fallen soldiers by shielding the grieving families
from seeing or hearing the shameful protests of the Westboro Baptist Church.

The Department of Defense announced the death of Sgt. Gordon F. Misner II, 23,
of Sparks, Nev., who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He died near Balad, Iraq, on Feb. 22,
when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle. 
He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment,
3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.
