0-60 in 2.5 seconds with no brakes

Speedway racers use stripped down motorcycles to gain maximum acceleration.
Four riders race at once, making four laps on dirt or ice tracks.
They wear metal boots and use their feet as brakes.
Speedway racing has dwindled in the United States
and is now found mostly on the west and east coasts.
It remains extremely popular in Europe.

This motorcycle uses a Godden chassis and a 500cc Weslake engine.
It runs on methanol and only has one gear speed.
