2001 Chop-R

BUILT TO BE A DAILY RIDER
The term "Chopper" originally came from cutting down or "chopping"
certain features of the motorcycle, such as fenders and frame. to increase performance.
Later, it was applied to any motorcycle that had been customized.
After declining in popularity due to safety and air quality concerns during the 1970's,
"chopping" has returned with an entire market of custom frames, wheels and fenders for the chopper mechanic.
This bike, built by the owner, uses a Twin-Cam Harley-Davidson FLT motor/transmission,
a custom Gambler motorcycle frame, Hallscraft wheels, Performance Machine front brakes
and controls, GMA rear brake and pulley, Wernimont custom fenders,
Bitchin Stitchin seat, Mike Clayton paint and Taint Paint powder coating.
