Colorado is home to some of the finest riding anywhere in the country! Along with my favorite rides, I have included links to scenic destinations as defined by the state itself. I have also included some of my favorites from other states as well.
Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous paved road in the entire USA. It is easy to rise above timberline at about 11,000 feet, because Colorado is home to 54 different 14'ers or mountains that rise more than 14,000 ft above sea level. Always ride prepared, by carrying layers of clothing that can be added, as you gain elevation. While it doesn't happen often, it can snow in June on top of the mountain passes. |
